"Easy check in, with all instructions clearly provided via email. I'm an NYC native who no longer lives in the city. This was an ideal spot to crash when I needed to stay in the area for a night. Yes, it's loud. That's the East Village, it's expected. Room was clean and very cute. Check in and out was easy. "

"While the overall experience was just fine, I did have some issues with the check in/out process. There was just one lady running the reception, while she was awesome I felt bad it was just her. It was very busy and I had to stand around for 45 minutes just to get the keys. Checkout was no different. A lot of people checking out at once and there was a massive line down a very small hallway. Be prepared to give yourself about an hour to deal with check in and another hour to deal with check...

"I liked how there was 24 hours front desk.great location too with excellent transport links if needed.Two minute walk to Maddison Square Garden and Empire State Building.We are a family of Five and found it spacious enough because we were hardly there and it was ideal for us.We loved every minute of our stay and there were no negatives,we’ll definitely stay there again if we visit New York in future."

The only elevator broke down while we were there, and we had to climb 4 flights of stairs a few times to reach our 5th floor room. (We saw others who had to carry very heavy luggage down the stairs). "Was 90 degrees in New York and the air conditioner was broken. Was like a sauna in there. The roof was also leaking and making an annoying drip sound every 5 seconds. Impossible for my family to sleep under those conditions. The “reception” room was in a closet and had a long line for check in. They charged a $100 cash only security deposit and have yet to refund it even though we were barely in the room. Guessing I’m never going to see that $100. "The staff and service for this hotel was truly amazing and made it stand out from other hotel experiences. They provided help with my luggage and always provided water bottles. The only downside to the room was the lack of space in the bathroom. It had no where to place things in the restroom to get ready. The location is great, we had many options to eat and drink around and felt safe. "

"There was nothing i didn't like about this property (and I'm hard to please). It has 2 restaurants and a cocktail bar. It has breakfast available for $6.50 pp (free if you grab and go)and the food was delicious (agian, I'm hard to please). I definitely recommend "

"Just checked out today… and I am impressed with this property… location, Views, in room dining… the only bad thing I found about this property was house keeping for not cleaning my room 2 times… but maybe they were too busy idk but other than that great experience and will be coming back "
