"Front desk staff very helpful. Great lobby area with both private nooks and group working tables. Excellent location and easy access by public transportation (bus or BART) or car. My room (the least expensive) is small but equipped with a good desk/chair/lighting and a very comfortable bed. "

"Love the Palace. The history of the hotel is fascinating and the holiday decor is beautiful! Unfortunately only 1 out of 3 elevator were working. Otherwise - a perfect stay!"

"This is our absolute favorite hotel, not only in San Francisco, but the US. We travel quite extensively and we cannot exclaim the virtues of this property enough! The property is immaculately clean, decorated beautifully and has maintained the charm of this historic hotel. EVERY employee from the front desk to housekeeping to restaurant staff to valet parking attendants are the best. The housekeeping staff thanked us for staying at the hotel. Judy, one of the concierges, spent a great deal of time with me on the phone prior to our arrival assisting me with making New Year’s Eve dinner reservations. The hotel has a water bottle refilling station. The beds are comfortable and the towels soft and fluffy. The showers are wonderful also."
