"It’s a new hotel and the staff is excellent. Even when I had issues, they worked on everything right away and made sure to check in on me daily. They were receptive to my feedback (one was to add fridges to the rooms which they had ordered prior to my departure) and provided breakfast daily, entertainment once a week in the dining area. "

"The feel of the place was relaxing. It was the quiet season when we visited Bali so I appreciated the place not feeling too busy or over crowded. We stayed in the superior villa and I appreciated it’s authentic old feel of Bali, am grateful I didn’t book just a standard room as it was nice to walk through the gardens to our own separate hut!. The room was a little run down but it was really comfortable and we still enjoyed our stay, you’ll need to consider the stairs up to the room should you...

"Great location! Right on the beach and only a close walk to shops. Property is undergoing some renovations so was quiet, with not many guests, which we liked. We had a private pool with our villa that we used a bit, the main shared pool was huge with nice little areas for kids to play who cannot yet swim. The resort’s restaurant only catered for breakfast and lunch. The staff were lovely and food was reasonable but they were never busy due to minimal guests, so not a huge variety on the menu."

"This place is an absolute treasure! Do not leave without experiencing the Ultimate Retreat Package at the Dewi Sri day spa! After two years, I returned, and all my expectations were exceeded. So much so that I had to force myself to leave the resort to head into the city centre to buy a few gifts. I love every single thing about this resort - in particular the people and the setting. This is a place, where you simply must put your phone down and take in your surroundings, let them wash over you, soak in them, engage with the beautiful staff, watch and listen to the wildlife, really taste the magnificent flavours of the dishes served. If you do this, you will return home renewed, refreshed and ready for anything! This is a place that will steal your heart with beautiful traditional Balinese hospitality and its jungle setting. You will see the most phenomenal array of plant species, and if you put your phone down, you will experience such an incredible range of different coloured butterflies, carpenter bees, exotically coloured dragonflies, exotic (for us) flying lizards on the palm trees as you eat your breakfast, endangered long-tailed Macaque monkeys (pls don't feed), squirrels, etc. If you are concerned about all the delectable food they serve (breakfast and afternoon tea was included in my package) then there are complimentary yoga classes, a gym, 2 pools, and lots of breathtaking walks."
