"I'm a regular at Pod 39 when I come to NYC by myself. It's very minimalist and if I was planning to spend more time in my room, I'd go elsewhere, but exactly what I need when I'm in the city to see shows and check out some exhibitions. Always clean and my room is always ready when I arrive (which has not been my experience at other NYC hotels). "

"This was such a great property to stay at. Check in/out very simple and fast despite a packed lobby. You can check in early for a fee or just leave luggage at hotel for a fee. Staff was very nice and helpful. Few things, our thermostats made a horrible noise like something was clawing through before it turned on but worked great after it turned on. Breakfast wasn’t what I thought it would be but they do give you extended time and multiple options. All in all would absolutely stay again and...

"The room was surprisingly large for NYC. Everything was very clean. The rooftop bar was closed since it's winter, but we could still access the rooftop terrace and the view of the Empire State building was amazing. The location is very convenient. The street outside was a little noisy but that's to be expected for NYC. Overall great stay and I highly recommend this hotel!"

"Rooms are large and have very comfortable beds! Pool area is very nice. Only negative was not being informed upon check-in, that we needed to alert the Front Desk if we wanted stay over services. Would stay here again. "
