"The hotel is closed to the CBD and also the pier (within 10-min walk). Very spacious and clean room with good kitchen, nice and professional staff. Very good car-park (but not free, need to book with your hotel room) within the hotel area. The skybus stop is just at the entrance of the hotel, so you come to hotel via skybus easily if you do not rent a car."

"Good but not amazing. We were in the big main timber building above reception and had a great view over the harbour in our "executive room" with balcony. But this area of town now feels "corporatised" with one company seemingly managing all the properties in the area and cross-promoting the cafes, bars and restaurants, located just metres away. But virtually everything nearby shuts down at 8pm. This was my third visit in 20 years and Strahan has lost its quaint charm. Now the place is...
