"A really lovely lodge in the best location in Cape Mclear, it had the most amazing chef and restaurant and lovely gardens. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. It’s also felt very safe. The room was a little tired and bathroom needed to be a little cleaner, however this is a country that has very limited resources so it was always going to be different to a western and more developed experience. It’s definitely the place to stay in this beautiful corner of Malawi! "

"Sunbird Ku Chawe is situated high up on the Zomba Plateau - one definitely needs a car to get there. It has perfectly manicured beautiful gardens. Even though it was very hot the time that I was there, there is always a cool breeze as it is so high up! I loved my room with the views of the Zomba town & far off mountains such as Chiradzulu and Mulanje. Had a wet room and modern fixtures in the bathroom. "Staff and lodging is good, ac works. The pool was not filled upon our arrival. Don’t buy anything from the vendors on the beach they will overcharge you by insane amounts. Walk down to the other vendors and shops for better deals. "

"Nkopola is beautiful only we didnt have to stay there. Expedia cancelled our booking the day we were meant to check in. We are very disappointed. Left us stranded. We rmailed to be refunded no reponse up to now."

"One of the best hotels we stayed in Malawi. Rooms are specious and very clean. The resort organizes afternoon cruises on the Shira river and morning game drives in the park. We did both and it was really excellent. "

"This was an amazing stay. The staff was very helpful and reacted quickly to all our queries. They kept our backs while we were in the morning and moved our room so that we have a better WiFi reception. The room was recently renovated (or build) and it was very comfortable and clean. There was a great wifi reception and plenty of hot water. If you are traveling to the Mulanje Mountain this is a great place to stay."

"This is my 4th visit to Casa Mia. It is constantly being upgraded and is beautiful. I would not contemplate staying anywhere else in Blantyre. The food is excellent. Hope to visit again soon. Can highly recommend. "
