"We stayed at Crowne Plaza Venice East for one night to be close to the airport for an early morning flight. I specifically chose this hotel because it was very close to a train station that we could use to get us from Venice islands to the hotel. The Crowne Plaza also has an airport shuttle. However, the airport shuttle hours don't start until 5:00 am. We needed to leave before then, so we had to use a taxi. Taxi to the airport was 45 euro and about a 15 minute drive. "The hotel was very neat and clean. Staff was very nice and welcoming. Breakfast could improve a little more, with more options of protein and fruits to select from. "

"The room was bigger than expected. Nice bathroom too. It even had a balcony. The bed was not comfortable and the linens were stiff. Also, when booking they advertise free shuttle to the airport which is not free. The taxi costed 20 euro. We had a very early flight from Venice so this was a good option to avoid any delays to the airport from central Venice. The person who checked us in was very nice and and spoke perfect English. "
