"Have stayed here many times. Always consistent. The restaurant is good and the staff is very friendly. Ask for Jose. David has limited restaurants that may appeal to American tastes. If you are visiting I suggest you try Boquete where you will be pleased. If spending a few nights in David then Alcala is certainly acceptable. I have lived here for 4 years so I have a little experience in these things."

"Hotel RIU is a very comfortable place to stay. An excellent buffet breakfast is included and the location is central -it;s easy to get to the malls and the Old City. The staff is friendly and very helpful. This is my second stay there and it will be where I'm staying on my next trip to Panama."
