"Staff was great. Every time I had a question, (and I had a lot) they bent over backward to help. I do wish they offered a shuttle to/from the metro. When you get off the train, it’s a 10-15 min walk uphill in the cold to return to the hotel. Also, I wish we had more dining options, but the free breakfast is a full breakfast which is nice. "The hotel is in an idyllic location very near the south coast of Tromoy island, with a pebbly beach and cafe within easy walking distance and a petrol station/shop and also supermarket within a mile or two. It is on Google Maps which is how we navigated our rented car there - our car sat nav did not know how to reach it! Despite arriving late in the evening the staff managed to rustle up an excellent late-night snack for us both. The breakfasts are superb and the indoor pool excellent - used it...

"We were visiting family in Raufoss and this was the only lodging available in the area. It’s pricy for what you get but there’s no other option near Raufoss. The property is old and small. Expect a very basic room with no A/C (pretty common in Europe). There are drinks you can buy at the reception desk and breakfast is available."
