We were generally pleased with our stay. However, we caution the front desk to alert guests on check in that they need to swipe the key card to lock the door on exit. We realized the day of check out that the door does not lock automatically and though it is on the key card it was not something we noticed since it is in quite small print. So, consequently we had left our doors unlocked when we were out! Thankfully, we did not lose anything in the room. Also, it turns out the interior dead bolt was also not functioning on our door and we did not think this was an issue since we thought the door automatically locked; we did use the safety latch as a safeguard once inside. One other thing that concerned us is the room temperature; one of us had to remove the duvet cover from the duvet and use only the cover as a blanket or it would have been too hot. Alas, we noticed on the day of checkout, when we were putting the unused duvet back on the bed, that it was quite stained in some areas. So, in such a condition, it should have been switched out for the next guest, not merely have a fresh cover on it. On the whole, housekeeping staff were friendly and efficient and the room and bathroom looked clean. We were very pleased with the location of the property, We also liked the breakfast spread.
