"Hotel was as described - would have been nice to have the outside pool as an option but indoor pool was good. Lovely balcony sea view."

"This is our third stay at the Imperial and it won't be our last! Very homely, friendly - nothing too much trouble. We always have a superior double with sea view - the views are fantastic. Situated on the esplanade opposite the sea, behind hotel is the park and access to the town or take a leisurely stroll along the esplanade towards the point! Lovely! The food is good here. Buffet breakfast - everything you could wish for. Evening meal is choice of 3 or 4 starters, mains and choice of three desserts. They also offer a lunch/bar daytime menu and I can thoroughly recommend the afternoon tea - delicious!! They also do cream teas. "

"This was a very nice hotel and and we had a Sea View however due to the flying birds around the area, the windows were dirty with bird poo. The hotel should ensure cleanliness of the windows too."

"I checked in on an incredibly hot day when the air conditioning wasn't working as it should. The lady at reception moved my room without being asked to make sure the room I was checked into had air con. When I got to my room, it had clearly been prepared with the heat in mind - the curtains were closed against the direct sunlight and a fan was running - the room was lovely and cool, a nice reprieve from the heat outside. Staff are polite and incredibly helpful. "

"Rooms communal areas and breakfast were all lovely. Rooms and communal areas were exceptionally clean. Lovely views at breakfast and lots of choice. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend and stay there again. "
