"Nice old pub building in the centre of the small town. Down stairs arras were very nice with a cosy and traditional atmosphere. On checking in was advised kitchen was closed for 2 of the 3 nights. It is on an estuary along a narrow lane (single track in parts) and nearest town/shops a good 30 minute walk with some extremely steep parts to climb, so not for the less able in my opinion. However, a great spot to visit other pretty places if you dont mind relying on your car daily. "

"I really like this hotel and have stayed twice now, we are local and come for a night. The location is brill and close to everything in the centre, the staff are lovely and look after you. It has a lovely feeling to it with the nice bar area and entertainment. All the guests have been friendly travelling for miles to stay here. I’d definitely stay again and again. Parking is also a bonus £6 for 24hr in Fleet Street. "
