"Perfect Hotel for a St Ives Visit After much research, I chose this hotel and couldn’t have been happier. We previously stayed at the Carbis Bay Hotel, but since the G7 summit, prices there have soared, and the walk or train into town feels inconvenient. Sea view rooms are a must. We enjoyed stunning sunsets as boats returned to harbour and even spotted dolphins playing in the morning. The in-room binoculars were a brilliant touch. The hotel combines modern, stylish design with the charm of an older building, featuring winding corridors leading to the spa. The spa is sleek, with a well-sized pool, two excellent saunas, a jacuzzi, and loungers offering stunning bay views. A full range of treatments is available. The bar and restaurant are creatively decorated and maximise the views. Food and drinks were enjoyable and met expectations. Things to Know: • The walk to town is 7–8 minutes downhill and uphill on return via steps or a steep slope. • Train and bus stations are a 5-minute walk. Valet parking is efficient—use the bays opposite the entrance and give notice when you need your car. Overall: I was fully satisfied and will definitely return."

"We enjoyed our stay at the Greenbank. Reception were so helpful to find a parking space (we have a camper van). From reception to the dining staff, nothing was too much trouble. Room was sooo clean with a beautiful view of the harbour and looked like the bathroom had been refurbed fairly recently. Reviews on the restaurant we read were mixed, which we couldn’t understand as the our experience was amazing. Thank you to all the staff at the Greenbank. We’ll be back !"

"Booked to meet a friend at short notice. The staff were charming and very friendly. The room was extremely clean warm and comfortable. I think we will be making a habit of staying at the Jamaica Inn as it’s equal distance between Great Torrington and Falmouth where we each live and it enables us to meet up more often with our very busy working schedules. "Beautiful hotel! Stayed for one night with my boyfriend and I couldn't fault it. All of the staff were so friendly and the spa facilities were spotless. We had dinner and drinks in the Bay Bar which was lovely, a little pricey but to be expected for the quality. The hotel is situated right next to Fistral Beach and the views are amazing!! Thank you for a great stay, we will definitely be returning."
