"If you are going to San Pedro, especially if you are into diving or snorkeling, this is the place to stay. Luxurious, private, with nice private beach. Our only negative was that we had dinner at Pineapples one day and the service was horrible; food was mediocre. The breakfasts were fine, and service was good at breakfast. We would stay again but would not eat dinner at the on site restaurant."

"We have been staying at Grand Colony for years. The reason we keep returning is the convenience of walking down the beach to the dive shop, having a full size kitchen and individual bedrooms for everyone. There are no amenities to speak of. "Authentic hotel to stay at. Beautiful. Note, there is a lot of seaweed so you can’t go in the water. Well you can a little on the left hand side. There are a lot of waves. I saw a couple go to the pier and jumped in for their daily swim. Also, the price for diner or anything you purchase at hotel from spa to food or anything else, it’s US Dollars.
