"Lovely resort, friendly staff, great pool/pool bar, modern rooms and well looked after. Variety and quality of restaurants is excellent. Pro or con depending on your situation - very much a family resort and loads of kids. Well entertained and loud kids with many activities. Probably better outside Australia/New Zealand school holidays. Con - half seating of breakfast is outdoors. During bad weather the outdoor seats cannot be used. This results in half hour queues to get a table inside....

"It’s always lovely to arrive to a warm welcome at Fiji Gateway. Clean refurbished room with great shower, comfy bed. Breakfast was delicious! Just an over night stay on the way to Fiji Palms. "

"The kitchen didn’t have much it it but was very nice and big, needed more dishsoap or dishwasher pods. Fridge leaked water a little and the lights were very dim and yellow in the bathrooms but other than that was a great place to stay. Would come back "

"If you stay on the mainland in Fiji, this is great because it is close to the airport and the marina. From the marina, we took two boat trips to other islands. One was the Whale Tail full day excursion which we highly recommend. Breakfast was included and outstanding. Food at the restaurant was outstanding. This is a family friendly hotel. If you are traveling for a romantic getaway, pay extra to stay in the all adult “beach club” side. Well worth it"

"A fantastic location for a family holiday. Pool area was fantastic. Room was a little tired but we weren’t in it much. Parking for holiday makers was very busy at Christmas time. Reception could have been a little friendlier. We had a great time and I would return. "
