"What a lovely hotel! I'd never heard of the Ayres hotel brand before, and was suspicious of the uniformly excellent Expedia reviews but went with it anyway. Was really glad I did! Wonderful and friendly staff. (Amazing neck ties, btw, front desk guys!) Great vibe and interesting family branding that focuses on their love of sailing through out the years. Will definitely be back next time I'm in OC!"

"This hotel was nice. The rooms are nice and tidy and clean. The front desk was always available. The only thing I wish they would have told me upfront, which was not a big deal anyways. They had a $25 charge per day. The good news is that if you spend $25 a day in food expenses at two of their restaurants it will credit back $25. Essentially if you spend $25 at the restaurant and charge it to your room they deducted the $25 charge so it’s like you spent the 25 on food. Just not happy that they forced you to spend $25 a day at their hotel."

"MERCEDES is the best!! Absolutely amazing customer service. She was kind, caring, helpful, extremely informative and attentive and it was very late at night!! Absolutely impressed with her level of attention and customer service. She helped a bunch of people in the lobby before me and did it all with a lovely smile on her face and a soft and gentle demeanor. I would definitely stay here again."
