"This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in, that it's in Taiwan, where expectations of hotels is low makes that even more impressive! The hotel itself is on is Ita Thao side of Sun Moon lake, which in my opinion is the better side. We didn't like the Main side as much. You step out the door pretty much onto the main road with all the street food vendors for snacks/breakfast/lunch/dinner. As they shut up by 7pm it doesn't disturb you in the evening. "I get a 2 storey room with a balcony at the lower floor. You able to observe the stars from balcony if the weather is good. The breakfast is an order to make which is really good. "The hotel grounds are amazing, the staff friendly but lacking in the sense where we paid full rate and received an off season service. Breakfast was good but not buffet, the jacuzzi in the room was disabled according to staff. You need to tell them if you’re coming back after 23:00 because they close the main gate. The room was super spacious and nice but needs a refresh… over all, it is a great hotel considering others in the area and as I said the grounds are amazing, photos attached"
