"A memorable stay. Excellent and impressive services, 10/10. Really appreciated their warm caring. Area is quite, clean and comfy. Highly recommended to this place though its quite expensive. But definitely worth it."
"The check in with smooth. They spoke Japanese along with Chinese and English. There were snacks, water and tea available in the lobby. The place was a bit outside of city center however a very comfortable stay. I just wish they had more dressers in the room. Seems to be a consistent theme in Taiwan no dressers and storage in the rooms"
"The hotel is great. Nice people and in a good location if you like especially some night market walks. It's near to a large department store too which has a fantastic food court!"
"Good for a solo traveller, who is not too fussed about amenities. Room size is a bit small. Walkable to Taichung Station, Miyahara, many eateries and several convenience stores."
"You can get everything you need near the hotel. There are two mall near the hotel and near the train station. That’s really convenient.
The room is clean and cozy. The staff are helpful and nice "

"They made an effort to check on your estimated arrival time and upon arrival, I’m greeted with great smiles and hospitality. Welcome drink is nice too. I got the panoramic view room which is excellent. And breakfast was served in room to let me enjoy the nice view. Grohe shower set is just some of the things u know they value about. Parking is also available and it’s just mins away from lots of eating places. Well maintained and definitely worth every penny "

"Superb hotel, thank you, especially in the amazing politeness of the staff, but also in the excellent and value for money rooms, as well as the terrific breakfasts. I originally only planned to stay in Taichung for two days but extended this for another two days purely because of this hotel. "
"The grounds are absolutely spectacular. Incredible, world-class gardens, village charm, and a true cultural experience. The ambiance is incredible. The staff was also amazing. One staff member was a particularly great English speaker, and throughout the day, she would proactively check on us and offer recommendations or help. Other staff wasn’t as good with English, but were incredibly genuine and caring, and the language challenge was nothing a translation app couldn’t overcome. Rooms were spacious and super unique adding to a beautiful cultural experience. However, the bathroom area had no fan or dehumidifier and had a mold problem. Plus, no daily housekeeping, led the room to smell musty and unfresh after a day. The food was all vegetarian. The lunch restaurant is only open on the weekend and is super high quality and not an issue. But the main restaurant felt more like a vegetarian camp buffet. You need a car or (cheap) taxi to visit other villages in the area for other food options, which is fun, but better if it wasn’t as much of a necessity. I still recommend to most who aren’t too persnickety and looking for a unique cultural experience, but I think you’ll find that the village has amazing potential to be a super unique, luxury, yoga/zen/Taiwanese retreat, but it doesn’t quite deliver all around to command a solid 5 star review. For us, pricing was fair, but if they round out the experience, could charge a good premium."
