"When we arrived at the hotel it had closed down four weeks previously. A notice on the door informed us to which hotel we had been transferred. This was difficult to access as the hotel next to The Chevalier( our new destination) was still under construction. There was no drop off point for luggage and my husband had to carry all bags from a car park about 7 minutes walk away. We were greeted by black billowing smoke. "Chateau Cavanac has the most beautiful pool i have ever experienced. The food was very good but you had to have 3 courses for dinner which you can do for a couple of days but after that we would have gone out to eat dinner.
