The ad showed a sitting area in the lobby which we were planning on using but were told on arrival it was a private area - this aspect dissappointed us. "When we arrived at the hotel it had closed down four weeks previously. A notice on the door informed us to which hotel we had been transferred. This was difficult to access as the hotel next to The Chevalier( our new destination) was still under construction. There was no drop off point for luggage and my husband had to carry all bags from a car park about 7 minutes walk away. We were greeted by black billowing smoke. "Excellent hotel located a few minutes walk from the historic castle. Rooms were immaculate and spacious. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast options were also excellent. A very minor issue personal to us was that the cups in the rooms were disposable. Tea is always better in a real cup. We would definitely stay here again."
