When it first opened, I thought that the Intercontinental was up there in terms of high quality Boston hotels. Since then, they've probably aged a bit while many nicer options have sprung up. The hotel is still plenty nice, but a little sterile. Rooms can be a little noise. The bar area was so loud that we needed to leave it. Parking is very expensive and you have to pick up your own car. I can't imagine that we'll return anytime soon.

Room was spacious, beds were very comfortable. We had great view of Fort Point Channel. Check in attendant was very hospitable and helpful. We really appreciated an extra cleaning of room when we returned late one night. Cleaned our room twice that day without us requesting it. Spa and breakfast buffet were good but overpriced. Overall great experience. Would come back. High quality hotel
