What I loved is, it really is in a rainforest, with all the sounds of crickets and birds chirping 24/7. It is within walking distance to the bus to the Iguazu Falls park, but not to markets and restaurants in Puerto Iguazu. Staying in the cabanas, you do have access to the restaurant, pool and pool bar of the associated Rainforest LaSelva hotel, which is more upscale, and Argentine breakfast...

"We enjoyed our time at Sol Cataratas and wish we had stayed longer. The jungle setting provided atmosphere and we found the restaurant on site provided good meals and enjoyed our interaction with the serving staff (despite our lack of Spanish). The hotel was a base for us and we were picked up and dropped off on the tours we did though a walk into town isn't excessive and neither were taxi's if required. "The property is not only beautifully surrounded by nature, the rides to and from airport and Iguazu falls are so scenic. All canopy trees on roads. Dense green vegetation around. Property itself is very thoughtfully built. Ramps in right places for bags, excellent staff (special mention for Facundo), hotel arranged transport(Sergio was very nice and helpful and punctual).
