"Beautiful property in a rainforest setting. The first room we were given had an intermittent sewage smell, so we requested another room. They upgraded us to what looked like a honeymoon suite. It was very large with a large balcony and nicer bathroom. The property is showing its age and is need of some maintenance. Staff was very nice and helpful. Wait staff were above average for Argentina."

"Close to the airport. Close to the waterfalls park. Rio de Uruguay bus stops right in front of the hotel (and drops off across the street. The restaurant has great food. If you are looking for a hotel with spacious rooms, near the airport/park, and with food on site then this hotel is perfect. My room was spacious, but the bathroom needed to be updated. No big deal. "

"We enjoyed our time at Sol Cataratas and wish we had stayed longer. The jungle setting provided atmosphere and we found the restaurant on site provided good meals and enjoyed our interaction with the serving staff (despite our lack of Spanish). The hotel was a base for us and we were picked up and dropped off on the tours we did though a walk into town isn't excessive and neither were taxi's if required. "This place is beautiful with its jungle setting. I’m sad that I didn’t have a chance to use the jet bath on the balcony! The pool and the pool bar wonderful. The room was beautiful, although it was funny as the sink in the bathroom was very beat up. It didn’t really fit! Also, there was a family of cats that showed up every time we opened our door or arrived. They were absolutely adorable. I really hope that the lodge gets them fixed and finds them homes. I wanted to take them with us!...
