"Restaurant was closed during our stay and we were not aware at time of booking. Seems it’s closed every weekend!! Receptionist on check in was not very helpful Asked for kettle and cups and told to look in room first then was only given kettle -asked for ice for room and told to go to supermarket. Elizabeth who was on later got cups and ice for us. Back there next week. Will wait and see but nice location"

"After reading the negative reviews I became really anxious about my family holiday, to the point where I almost cancelled! I’m so pleased I didn’t because we had the most amazing time! "My family and I had an amazing few days at this hotel in Gran Canaria. The ocean views were spectacular, the staff was very friendly, and the rooms were comfortable. We enjoyed the peacefulness of the beach, with great weather and excellent local food options. A perfect experience to relax with family. We would definitely come back!"

"Nice quiet location, close enough to walk to restaurants and the sea. Lovely staff, clean and tidy accommodation, nice pool area, you can always get a sunbed due to the no holding sunbeds rule which is enforced. No 6am towels on sunbeds crew. Bliss! "

"The Don Miguel hotel is HUGE! It's a large, sprawling hotel that needs a bit of renovation, but is in a great location, with the entrance being on the corner of a main road. It is very close to the Yumbo Centre and all the fun that entails, as well as being opposite a small if expensive supermarket. The staff here are amazing!
