"Room was clean and staff was super nice. Hotel is dated and my bed was hard. Pillows were plenty and made up for the hard bed. Wouldn't mind another sray. "

I found Wichita Falls to be above my expectations. There is a downtown library near the hotel, and staff assisted me in locating Sacred Heart Catholic Church which is near downtown and a jewel in itself. For now, restaurants are in the suburbs.

We thought we would be hiking to natural water falls but the guy at the hotel said it was manmade and sometimes they turn it off -we should have done our research so I hope this helps someone else!

Im still checking it out. It has alot of great places to eat. The University and AFB are cool. They have a few notable tourist attractions. Overall great for family and not so great as a solo traveler.

I don't like crowded cities, but Wichita was too quiet. Maybe everyone was gone for spring break but it was very nice. People are extremely friendly.

Lived there for 3 years 40 years ago. Hasn't changed much. Hot in the summer, cold in the winter, but not a bad city.
"Our stay at Tru was great. We arrived earlier than planned and the front desk ladies were more than accommodating to get us in a room quickly so we could hurry to the softball fields for our daughter's tournament. The room was clean, smelled nice, had plenty of lighting, large flat screen t.v. welcoming us by name, and the shampoo/conditioner/body wash options were full and pleasantly scented. There were several options for entertainment if desired such as the outdoor pool with an additional hang out/fire pit area and an indoor pool table/game room. The continental breakfast was full of options, both hot and cold. Oatmeal, muffins, cereal, pancakes, eggs and bacon, fruit, and build your own breakfast sandwich. Everything stayed stocked and tidy. Staff was friendly and helpful all weekend. Really great stay and if we are back in Wichita Falls, we will be booking at Tru!"
