"Loved the quirkiness and history associated with this hotel. It is a fabulous location and swimming in the (heated) outdoor pool before breakfast was such a treat. Great breakfast too! The staff are friendly and helpful. It is a shame that the owners are allowing the fabric of the property to deteriorate as they want to knock it down and build something huge and modern. I think the main building should be listed and hope to return to this lovely spot before the developers get their way. "

"The staffcwee amazing and nothing was too much trouble for them. They arranged a disco/karaoke on the Saturday night so we could all enjoy the evening at the hotel. We paid the dj, but no cost for room hire. The themed rooms of celebrites was amazing. We had over 40npeople staying on the Saturday. Everything thought itcwas fantastic. "

"We chose this hotel for its location and views which are amazing. The hotel itself is dated and the long dark corridors to the rooms on the ground floor are not appealing. The rooms are in need of updating and decorating, ie, decent light over bathroom mirror and change shower curtain to glass screen. Room was suffient. There was a good choice for breakfast. Did not try evening restaurant however bar meals were good."
