"Its a good location for a hotel near the town and station. Staff are friendly and the rooms are nice. The complimentary selection of hot drinks and water is generous. Only let down was the wifi which didn't work since the evening of our stay and right up to when we left. I was kept informed and asked staff who said it was due to a local power cut affecting a few places. Also it was noisy from the suite upstairs and twin beds were small but we can only ask for so much. "

"This was the best experience ever I booked this for my husbands birthday he loved it so much he said it was like staying in the jungle hearing the lions roar it’s magical the pinewood lodge was lovely and cosy we loved our stay thank you so much and it the price was well worth it I would highly recommend."

"Large room, basic but very clean and comfortable. Be aware that room 1 is in the basement, narrow circular stairs to descend. Easy access to shared bathroom, fully equipped communal kitchen super clean and tidy. No tea/coffee making facilities in room. No signage on the building so little difficult to find. "
