"What a luxury to step out of our room onto a soft, white sand beach. Between our room, the water and neighbouring restaurants, we never needed to leave the beach! The rooms are simple, but clean and the bed was comfortable. The bungalows are lovely with a laid-back vibe, a beautiful garden and lots of shade trees. "We really looked forward to staying at the Zanzibar Queen given other reviews. It didnt disappoint. Fantastic location in beautifully kept grounds. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. The pool area was clean and enticing. There was also boules, volleyball and badminton available to keep the body exercised. As well as table tennis and darts. The restaurant was superb. Ingredients and dishes were varied and akin to fine dining. Resort felt very private although effectively right on the beach....
