Maybe I got unlucky, but my rooms were the worst. The first room I had black mold all over the walls and in the bathroom, it smelled, the AC smelled, there were no towels, and the sheets were stained.
I was moved into another room the next day, and the water from the toilet and sink started coming out black…
The bedding was dirty, just filthy. There were ants. The windows would not close, rendering the much needed A/C useless. There were two towels and toilet paper for amenities. We had to forfeit, and chose another place.
This place is not too bad for a budget hotel. It has a nice breakfast and a really nice pool. It needs some updating and some things are broken....light fixtures, furniture,. Also, the room lighting is not very good.

Could be better
My staying was ok. True is that i found much better hotels later with better condition and for a better price. My room was without TV, the towels were with the wholes inside, they didnt clean my room and didnt give me a new towels during my 2 night stand. Pool was nice.
The owner and his staff here are amazingly helpful. The location is perfect near the middle of Ubud close to monkey forest but not in the center where the traffic and congestion is the worst. You can walk to anywhere from here though. Breakfast was also very good.
We arrived after a last minute booking only to be told there were no rooms left, even though there were 2 more available on other booking sites. The staff were extremely apologetic and offered us a room for the night which they weren't allowed to sell but was better than is having nowhere. We used the wifi to find somewhere else to stay. We also came back the next day for a full refund. Staff were great. Pool was a lot smaller than pictures make it seem. Very convenient hotel for ubud centre though.

Hotel is ok for the price
Hotel is ok for the price. You cannot expect much.
We stayed for 4 nights at warsa bungalow, mainly booked it for the cheap price and central location. The positives - the pool was lovely. The breakfast was simple but efficient.
The negatives - the staff were not attentive. We arrived in the afternoon to check in and the man who served us did not mention anything about breakfast, hotel facilities, wifi , towels , etc. he didn’t even ask who we were or where from simply asked for a passport and that was it. When we arrived in the room we had no towels or toilet paper provided. There was also no soap or a hand towel in the sink. We had to ask for towels and provide our own soap. We also had to ask about wifi as no one explained anything. The wifi was very poor and weak. Although the hotel says it has wifi do not rely on this. We had to go across the road to the restaurant nearby every day to get some sort of wifi. The bed was the most uncomfortable thing I’ve ever laid on and it was broken in many spots and noisy to the point you did not want to move on it in fear it would break. The walls are thin. Although on the top 3rd level we could hear everyThing happening in the whole building as well as in the pool area and breakfast area. There was also no cleaning service provided the entire stay and we had to keep requesting toilet paper when we ran out. The only thing that saves this hotel is the good central location. It is budget so don’t expect much. The bathroom also had mould all over the roof and the toilets smelt.
Planned for 5 days at the bungalow but had to cut it short after feeling uncomfortable with lack of amenities & not much family activities that can be done there. Only restaurants & pubs along the street. There is a pool but swim at your own risk as the water is murky. Room was truly 'no frills'. You only get towel & a roll of toilet paper. No soap, no kettle, no tea/coffee making facility. They provide free breakfast but limited choice to only the type of egg done & choice of coffee or tea. Wifi is available but it is like no wifi at all....too weak for proper connection.
Rooms we're very clean and spacious with a balcony and sofa area. Nice big bed which was very comfortable. Air con could have been stronger but it was ok.
Staff were friendly enough and the free breakfast was simple but nice.
Only downfall was some drunk guests were arguing at 2am and woke the whole place up! It took me going out to ask them to be quiet for the night staff to finally come over and speak to them.
Overall nice stay. Very good location. Walking distance to the Monkey Forest and restaurants/bars.
Not a great experience. No safe, smelly toilets and the rooms were dirty

Liked: Staff & service
Very helpful staff
My room was a little in need of an update but the rooms are really big, the beds comfy, the bathrooms big, and the breakfast was nice (I had a great banana pancake). Although I was a little frustrated when I arrived as it felt a little disorganised in that I wasn't completely sure they were expecting me, this was well and truly cancelled out by the helpfulness of the desk staff the next day (my checkout day) - somewhere to leave my bag, help with a taxi driver who didnt speak english, and even somewhere to have a last minute shower after checkout. I really appreciated all of this and it made a huge difference to my last day in Bali.

The internet only worked the first day, which made it very difficult for us to make plans and entertain us as there was no TV as well. The A/C wasn't very strong either. The pool was nice though. Also would be nice for them to have a fridge in the rooms.
The bedroom is very tired. Bathroom was slippery because water does not drain. Could easily slip if you are not careful.
Bed was not very comfortable. Remote for tv was missing. Not impressed with house keeping, in fact the was none during our stay. The room got quite dirty after two nights and no one seems to care.
