We had to book last-minute stay at this lodge for two nights. It was lovely. The place was clean. The staff was friendly. The heated pool and hot tub were lovely and very good shape. My only complaint is I would’ve expected a lodge as lovely as this one,to have good coffee. They need to add more coffee to the pot to make it better. Or just use a higher quality blend.

The Lodge on the Desert is very nicely arranged and decorated with plants, green space, pet area, and warm lighting in the evenings. Our room, 106, had a fireplace, very comfy beds, a patio (unfortunately, this one didn't face the north with a view of the mountains), and was very quiet. We ended our day early from the DeGrazia Gallery in the Sun festivities, so we had an early dinner at Cielo's, in the complex within walking distance. My husband had the hangar steak with shrimp, which he said was one of the best he's ever had. Very attentive staff; an enjoyable hostess. Our only disappointment, was the tv was not compatible with pay-for-tv stations. At least we couldn't figure if we could get Netflix, or any other one. We'd go back.

We needed an earlier check in and despite reaching out 4 days ahead, we were told we’d just have to wait and see. I didn’t hear anything, so I called the day before and was told the same thing. They said to call the day of, so I did. Then they told us they couldn’t accommodate us - even though their website said they had several empty rooms that would have accommodated us. It’s a nice place to stay and the staff was fairly friendly, but they definitely don’t accommodate.

This property has a villa/abode vibe. The room was large and the view was nice. There's a nice restaurant on the property as well. You're not crammed by neighbors, and for that, it made a quiet stay. Within 7 miles of plenty of dining options & shopping.

The true Old Pueblo charm in the middle of the city was a real find. My room was very large and very homey in a Southwestern desert kind of way, which I loved. The Cielos restaurant was surprisingly good, comfortable, and my margaritas were outstanding.
