"Wifi was unusable, blackout curtains let light right into my face as there was a street light directly outside of the bedroom. Check-in was not on-site and I had to go to a different location to check in. Scan of my residence card was required even though residents are not required by law to present ID. The toilet was very nice, the shower was not. Water pressure was terrible. I didn't realize this place was in the heart of soapland. Stay at a different Mr. Kinjo. "

"A small hotel in a sketchy part of town. Rooms are modern and attractive but a very poor design. Toilet/bath and bed are all in one room, separated by a clear glass wall. The only way to get privacy is to close THREE blinds, and from the outside (bed side), leaving no way to enter the bathroom. Electrical issues--one light was not working and the bathroom light could not be turned OFF. Night clerk said shutting the blinds would cut the light. Also pretty noisy. "It was probably the best public bath (i.e. hot spring) I have experienced in any hotel, it was clean, with full amazing sea view. The breakfast was a bit expensive, but worth the price with the food quality and variety. Plenty of restaurants nearby, convenient store is just downstairs."

"This was our third stay at this lovely hotel. As always, it was great. The only problem was with the Expedia booking: although we paid for the included breakfast when we booked, the hotel staff said we had not. So we had to pay twice for breakfast. This is an Expedia problem (google "Expedia breakfast scam" and you'll see), not a Strata problem, so better not to select breakfast if you book through Expedia. Better yet, book directly through the hotel or a different booking agency. "
