"I was very surprised at how spacious the rooms were compared to other typical Japanese hotels. The accommodations were dates, but clean, cozy and great views. The onsen experience was fantastic and the convenience to the slopes is the biggest plus."

"It was a typical Dormy Inn stay. I enjoy the hotel for its location and amenities. It is within walking distance to many of the cultural sites in the city as well as many good restaurants. The free ramen in the evening is a nice touch especially after a long soak in the outside onsen. The breakfast buffet is good and has a large selection of food. The beds are extremely hard but clean. I tend to bring my own blankets and pillows from home to make them more comfortable. I do find it frustrating...

"The hotel is dated but nice. I prefer the mountain view rooms as they have been updated recently. The beds are quite hard so the tatami mats are the better option. The onsen are very relaxing and my skin feels incredibly soft after each visit. The breakfast buffet has a good selection of both western and eastern style dishes. "
