"Tensing Pen is a fabulous place. It’s showing its age a bit, and isn’t what was when I came in 2012, when it was world class, but then Negril seems to have struggled a bit as well. Despite these deficits, it remains an amazing place to completely relax, unwind, and go off grid. If you like the bohemian feel and want to step away to another world, this is the spot. "It is quiet, safe and nicely situated to the beach. The food and restaurant is subpar. From the time the you place your order for food to the time you receive it, it is about an hour. The flavor and presentation of the food is very subpar. For all things considered, Sandy Haven is a great location, reasonably priced and safe. Rooms are clean, hot water for the showers and free towels for the beach. Staff is also very friendly and accommodating."
