Visit the observation deck for unbeatable views of Cleveland or enjoy dining, family entertainment and shopping in the Tower City Mall.

Take the elevator up to the 42nd floor of Terminal Tower and enjoy the exceptional views across the city from the observation deck. Enjoy spotting Cleveland landmarks, such as the sports stadiums, or look out over the surrounding countryside. Don’t miss the Tower City Mall where you can easily spend a day shopping, eating or watching movies.

Terminal Tower was built in 1930 and consists of 52 stories. It stands 771 feet (235 meters) above ground level and at the time of its construction it was the fourth-largest building in the world. For a long time it was also the tallest building outside New York. Located in the central Public Square it is the most prominent feature of the Cleveland skyline and is one of the city’s most recognizable symbols.

Make the ascent to the observation deck to enjoy spectacular views across the Ohio landscape. On a clear day you can see for 30 miles (48 kilometers) and take in sights such as Lake Erie, The Cuyahoga River and The Flats. Come at dusk to watch the lights twinkle on in the city below. If you want to know more about what you are seeing, join one of the regular guided tours.

Downstairs you can enjoy the modern attractions of the mall: Tower City. Over 100 specialty shops along with a range of restaurants and an 11-screen cinema complex will provide hours of entertainment.

Make sure you keep an eye on the Terminal Tower at night. It is renowned for its spectacular lighting, and this often changes to tie in with special events. Each St. Patrick’s Day in March the tower lights up green and in Breast Cancer Awareness month of October it changes to bright pink.

Terminal Tower is located in Public Square in the center of Cleveland. The Observation deck is only open at weekends and booking tickets in advance is recommended. There is a small charge for entry. Tower City Mall is open daily.
