"We had a very comfortable nights stay. Plenty of hot water, comfortable beds and very peaceful and quiet. The reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful. A minor issue with the shower was dealt with superbly by the manager Mark who went above and beyond to ensure that we had a comfortable stay. In fact, couldn’t have asked for a more caring team. "I love this hotel. Its has such a cosy feel, its always very clean and even though its next to the train station, noise is never an issue. Breakfast was also delicious. "

"The hotel was great realy... our only moan is the steep staircase to the second floor, where unfortunately for us was where our room was. We are both elderly. Other than that it was a lovely place with lovely staff and a great breakfast."

"Lovely real ale country pub with rooms. Very rustic but with all home comforts and little extras. Great view over countryside with cows grazing nearby. Breakfast freshly cooked and generous portions. Used as overnight stay following wedding at Crowcombe court (5 mins walk) but also great for walkers etc exploring the Exmoor area. Highly recommend "
