The stay was fine. Quiet night. I was going to extend my day to work at the hotel and they said they have a big group coming so I can’t keep the room. I understand there is a big group but I’m also a paying customer. That’s my only gripe. Otherwise the staff was nice and the people at the restaurant were super cool.

I booked for 3 nights prior to a cruise. I had a rental car & thought the nightly fee for secured parking was reasonable. I had dinner & adult beverages in the Gaudin Kitchen & Bar. Food was decent. Although understaffed, the crew was efficient & friendly both for breakfast & dinner. Rooms seemed large & I really liked the shower. Felt safe at this property. Also caught a show at the Starz Theater one night.

We are locals who were attending a performance at the Straz Performing Arts Center. The Barrymore is a few minutes walk. We did not have a hassle about parking or driving at night. The accommodations were great. The room was cool and clean. The bed very comfortable. We are planning on doing this again.

Shuttle will only cover 2 mile radius maximum. There is a $10/day parking fee at hotel. Restaurant & bar on site. Hotel is close to Busch Gardens, aquarium, & zoo all within an approximate 5 miles area. Walkjng distance to interactive museum for small children, within 2 or 3 blocks.
