Close to the pier, close to the aquarium, and lots of dining nearby. Very walkable even with an older toddler. Rooms are big and there's lots of space to spread out.

As soon as I walked in the door, the staff was super friendly. Bought a bottle of wine and needed an opener. Called the front desk and they had one delivered to my room within 10 minutes. This place is superb! And very clean and safe and convenient to a lot of different events. Like Amalie arena. Literally walking distance. And I was there for Cyndi Lauper concert. Literally cannot say enough nice things about my stay!

Captain T at the front desk was just lovely! She helped me get checked in and provided all the information I needed. While I sadly don’t remember the names of the rest of the staff I interacted with they were just as great. The staff walking the halls and cleaning and the staff at breakfast were just so friendly and made me feel at home. I will be in the area regularly for business so I will certainly be back!

Spacious rooms. Good breakfast. Complimentary coffee that's good. If you don't like it, there's a Starbucks in the same building. Don't even have to go out. Pool has a nice view of Downtown Tampa. Beds are comfortable. Free WiFi is pretty good.

I don't read long posts so let me sum this up: Pros - our king corner suite was A . Great sized space, bed and linens were comfy, kitchen area nicely equipped although we didn't really use it. Staff very friendly (shout out to Owen). Location, 1/2 mile safe walk to Riverwalk. I mile (quick uber) to Ybor city. Cons - NOISE. The traffic is insane, and the strip out front is apparently used for drag racing about 3am. Used to have a police presence but no more. Honestly, we didn't sleep! Pool area is very small (looks larger online) and breakfast area is too small to support this hotel along with sister hotel, Hampton Inn, that both use facilities.

Excellent hotel, clean and good views of the city, comfortable bed, and good breakfast. We were able to leave our bags while we were waiting for the check-in time, leaving the cruise ship. Right in the middle of Downtown Tampa.
