"This is a very local non touristy village. We enjoyed the hospitality (even if we couldn’t communicate)
The owner helped accomadate my sea food allergy. We really liked the hot bath available in the beautiful water. The only thing I would say is that it isn’t close to anything and you have to walk about 22 minutes to the train "
"It was easy to find from the station, breakfast was good, the public bath was good ( you do need to strip down to your birthday suite), the room was good except the bed it was one step up from sleeping on the hard ground."

"Hotel is in a quiet neighborhood. Lots of small cafe and restaurants options. About a 8 min walk to subway. I’d stay there again if I stay in Kyoto.
The hotel room was very spacious and very clean. My family enjoyed our stay very much."

"This hotel was perfect for our needs and our trip of 3 days. 3 double beds for 4 people. Room was big, comfortable, impecable clean and well equiped.
Easy access on a quiet street but with food options around. The staff was welcoming and always nice, they provided free bottles of water and clean the room while we were there even tough they have a eco cleaning days system. I defitenely recommend this hotel if you stop in Kyoto. "
"Our stay at the Kyoto Brighton Hotel was wonderful. The room was very large for Japanese standards. We had 4 adults and had plenty of room. We had a reservation including breakfast and the staff were extremely accomdating for my food allergies. All the ameneties and staff were wonderful. I highly recommend the Brighton Kyoto!"
"Loved my stay here. I stayed in the garden view room and it was amazing. The staff was friendly and the area was safe and walkable. The breakfast is really good and worth it if contemplating adding it to your stay. The space was quiet and clean. Would definitely stay here again. "
