"We were desperate for accommodation in Inverness and couldn't find anything available so we ended up in Strathpeffer. The hotel is old, reasonably clean, fairly quiet and comfortable enough. The breakfast was great, service was faultless. We also had dinner there one night and it was excellent. Was it worth £90 per night???"

"Clean, comfortable, simple room and ensuite showeroom/toilet. We had a table and two chairs by the window which was lovely so we could eat some meals there. Good service and lovely kind gentleman running the place who was very helpful. Good value. Only problem we had was being woken by the neighbours dogs loudly barking before 7am, which went on a long time, but not every day and of course is not the guest house owners fault at all.
