"Great hosts, beautiful location. The accommodation is a fantastic conversion and the rooms are very nice. Free Breakfast is handy if you want something quick or if you’re willing to go spend some money in the cafe I’d recommend it as the food and atmosphere is lovely."

"We were in the riverside lodge and although the lodge was lovely it lacked privacy as the hot tub and decking area was fully visible to people walking past from the nearby bridge, passersby could see right in to the accommodation. The lodge probably wasn’t worth the total amount of money we spent but it is a beautiful setting. The lodges are marketed as luxury, but we wouldn’t class the ‘level’ of luxury as commensurate to the price - the breakfast was pleasant but basic and the shower/toilet...

"Staff were excellent, and very hospitable. The food at their restaurant/cafe was simply superb. The room was decent, pretty much as advertised. A couple of minor issues about the facilities were brought to the owners' attention, but otherwise, the stay was a very pleasant experience. Thank you!"

"We stayed in The Barn for a couple of nights, a wonderful house , very comfortable, plenty of space. It was a little cold, and did take a while to heat up after we turned the heat on. One thing to note, there are no instructions on how to use the beautiful Falcon stove. Maybe a simple sign in the kitchen , with the basic instructions please, for those like us who have no experience with this type of stove."

"Could do with a small shop or cafe. Everything else was good for both adults and kids. Cleaners pay attention when cleaning after last guest there was a tupperware in the drawers beside bed with half eating cakes."

"We stayed here for two nights and felt cosy even in the storm which started the night we checked in. I was bit concerned for the heating and facilities for it being a one room lodge with what seems not the most cold resistant insulation around windows and doors. BUT I have to say that never we felt cold as heater quickly warmed up both room and bathroom, and it stayed so. We absolutely loved interior of our little room. "Nothing but positive things to say about Sweet Donside Cabins. Cabins and facilities were spotlessly clean, TV beds very spacious and comfortable, with the attention to detail excellent. Hot tubs were clean and well maintained. Lots of extra touches including a welcome basket."
