"The plug in our bathroom was closed and wouldn’t open. I mentioned this at Reception and was told that it had been reported by the previous occupant of the room and had been repaired. If it had been repaired why was the plug already firmly closed and impossible to open? Highly unsatisfactory in such a good hotel."

"This is a lovely historic property with a top-notch chef/kitchen. Food was probably the best feature. Beautiful interior spaces. Comfortable room except for the noise outside—our room was right next to the road, snd because of how old the building is there’s no sound mitigation. So it felt like the passing vehicles and people on the street were right in our room! I would stay here again if I could get a room in another location not right next to the street."
