"Superb views from room and breakfast area. Air conditioned room with comfortable beds. Room size, however, was very compact for a family of 4. We found the step into the bathroom concerning as using the bathroom during the night when in a semi-conscious state, 2 of our party had stumbles. The staff were very attentive and always friendly. The room was very clean. Plenty of safe parking available within grounds"

"When we arrived at the property we had so many questions about the area! The staff was helpful and answered all of our questions with great patience. We only stayed for 1 night, but wish we had booked for more nights. We toured Siena during the day, but came back to the property for a beautiful sunset and dinner. "At first we were wondering where we were going up the long winding mountain road. It's in a tiny out of the way village. It turned out to be our favorite spot out of many places we stayed in Italy. So much of Italy is quite crowded and touristy. Casa al Gianni is a lovely oasis away from it all. If you want to be close to town, this might not be for you (although it is not that far from Siena). If you would like to step back in time to a simple, beautiful, authentic Italy, this is the place....
