"Had a wonderful short stay at The President in Colaba. The hotel was beautiful and stylish, though slightly more dated than some of its peers (Taj, Trident, etc.). Had an upscale luxury feel to it, but with nice splashes or Indian culture and aesthetics. Room service was excellent. I was a bit disappointed with the surroundings— lots of construction so I didn’t the feel that I was hoping for, especially being so close to the sea and to the historic Colaba area. But that’s not the hotel’s fault....
"The bathrooms need renovating but other than that, good location, big rooms, friendly staff. Good breakfast and great stay. Bathrooms decent but could do with some renovating. "
"Our stay was very pleasant and comfortable. The property is just steps away from the iconic Gateway Of India and Taj Mahal Palace hotel. Have a few good restaurants and bars nearby. Will definately stay here again."
