"Super helpful hosts with very good English. Shared excellent recommendations for visiting zhangjiajie, Tianmenshan, and local food options. Even helped me get a car when my didi wouldn’t work! Cute night market outside and not far from train station and cable cars. Note the google maps location is wrong, it’s on the other side of the river, more north. Airport pickup was super helpful. Highly recommend. "

"For $5 I can’t complain much. But I have stayed at cheap hostel before, and where $5 can get me a comfortable bed in a a/c room this is not that type of hostel. They took the A/C off, there is a lot of mosquitoes, no fan, very thin mattress as in just a layer of sheet, maybe that is how it is here? But I stayed at a $15/night hotel and it was completely different. The only plus thing about this was the host came and walked me to the house cause I can’t figure out where it is."

"Ottimo hotel di tipo familiare, il personale alla reception è preparato e gentile e i clienti per la maggior parte sono pensionati cinesi molto cordiali. Il cibo è molto buono. Si respira la vera atmosfera della campagna di Xingping. Hanno un cane bianco meraviglioso come mascotte. Se volete immergervi in un soggiorno tra la gente del posto e fare amicizia è un luogo da consigliare, in un ambiente famigliare e semplice. "

"Lucas and his brother were awesome hosts helping us out with everything from airport pickup to suggesting tours and providing good and affordable food. The location of the hotel is at the less busy side of the avatar mountain park, which makes it idyllic. You can walk to the park entrance in 5 minutes. The rooms are simple but nice and clean. Would definitely stay here again."

"A real gem! Lovely lodging perfect for family. Feels more like a homestay. Lady boss helped us arranged for all our tour requirement, cooked us authentic local breakfast, recommended local delicacy and even drove out to fetch us from West Street on a few nights (; it’s a half hour walk to West street, located directly opp the new Guilin Romance Park (think impression liu sanjie), yet just outside the boundary of the newly established ‘national park’."

"The apartment hotel is in upper levels of a modern building that also houses a shopping mall containing numerous eateries. The building is literally directly above a subway station. It was super easy to get to and from Wuhan high speed rail station. The one bed room corner deluxe unit (free upgrade from a lesser unit) we stayed in is very spacious, equipped with a kitchen, dining table and a functioning washer/drier combo plus daily supply of detergent. Air conditioning of the unit worked well....

"Arguably the best ever hotel I have ever stayed in China. The room is spacious and clean. Unlike many other hotels in China (including a five star hotel in same area I stayed before), everything in this hotel works as they are designed to. Front desk is helpful and friendly. Highly recommended! A minor complaint is that its telephone set is unintuitive to use."
