"I loved Mimi's. My room was very small but I knew that ahead of time. It was just me so it was fine. The room is quiet from other guests, I never heard anyone else in the hotel. It was so quiet internally I began to wonder if anyone else was staying in the hotel. However, the pub next to the hotel had people overflowing outside and you could hear them until the pub closed. "I was pretty upset when we first arrived because we were given an "upgrade" to a HUGE room decorated in all grey and black. This happened to us at the same hotel a year prior during the coronation and we asked to change rooms to something with more color. The staff was very accomodating and moved us to rooms we absolutely loved. This trip were were moved into room 304 which was decorated in pinks and greens. We LOVED IT!!! "Lovely hotel. Reception & staff for breakfast were great. Room size was fine. Bathroom size was tiny(but was stated in other reviews), so we knew. No air con, so was hot(fan supplied in room), helped but very warm trying to sleep. Things we knew before hand, so not a complaint but would be a higher rating if rooms had air con. "
