"The location was great. Easy to get to the main attractions in Sintra. The breakfast was nice especially a great view in the dinning area. I liked the extra large bed! The rooms are older and worn, it needs an update! Even though it was summer weather in November , the heat was on! Didn’t sleep well the first night bec it was stuffy and warm. "We could not have picked a better hotel from which to explore the idyllic area in and around Sintra. The hotel simply oozes charm, thanks to its venerable age and the high quality of its staff. Staying here is like staying in a hotel from a bygone age. The included breakfast was delicious and abundant. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay here and could have easily stayed longer. We highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again should we return to the area."

"We booked for 2 nights and ended booking for another 2 nights. Great breakfast, parking is a plus, and 5 min walk to the train station, 15-20 min to the main square of sentra. The hotel is old, very basic but it was clean, a good home base to visit sentra and lisbon. "
