I recently stayed at Sintra Boutique Hotel and had a truly delightful experience. From the moment I arrived, the service exceeded my expectations. The hotel itself is impeccably clean, and offers all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The location is convenient, making it easy to explore the city. A special mention goes to Rafael’s and Teresa at the front desk. They were incredibly welcoming, helpful, and always had a friendly smile. Whether it was providing recommendations for local attractions or assisting with any of my requests, they made my stay even more enjoyable. Their attention to detail and genuine care for the guests really stood out. Rafaela went above and beyond helping me to buy tickets for a bus that goes from Sintra to Porto. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for excellent service and a memorable stay. I will definitely return!

The Sintra Boutique Hotel is located in the very heart of the historic center of Sintra. The Sintra Palace is almost directly across from the hotel, and the Quinta da Regaleira is a short walking distance as well (10 minute walk). The hotel room was fine and clean. The staff at the reception area was very friendly and informative - providing maps and other info on Sintra. The hotel has a parking area, but is not located at their property. It is located on or next to their sister hotel (Bliss Hotel). After you drop of your luggage at the Sintra Boutique Hotel, it takes about 25 minutes to drive to the parking area - which is a safe one. Luckily, it only takes a 5 minute walk up to the hotel from the parking area. (I would avoid driving in Sintra. If you are staying in Lisbon, take the train from the Rossio Station to Sintra.) Please know that there are many shops and several restaurants near the hotel. As most folks come to Sintra on a tour, this overly busy town is very quite in the evening and early mornings. The hotel has a restaurant as well, and the breakfast was wonderful. Whenever I return to Sintra, I will be returning to this hotel - but I will certainly not drive there. By the way, as Sintra is now overrun by tourism (e.g., it appears to be the DisneyWorld of Portugal), so you MUST get your tickets to the Palaces on-line way before you go, This includes the Sintra Palace, the Pena Palace and the Quinta da Regaleira. Tickets are date/ timed stamped entrances.
