But even with the rapid modernization the charm of old heritage Singapore can still be subtly around the city, where old preserved heritage building seamlessly blend in the urban jungle landscape.

One of the lesser known area where old heritage houses are still preserved is the emerald hill housings near somerset area. Taking a walk in these old streets while being surrounded by the view of skyscrappers around can make an interesting one of a kind experience on its own so you should definitely give it a try :)
