"My family loves this unit, especially my 12yo girl. She loves the vibes and design. Though it's not very spacious, but big enough for three of us. Unit is well-equipped too, with cooking utensils, shower gel and shampoo, clean towels, washing machine... And alot more 🙂 Dennis was very kind to bring over an umbrella for this rainy seasons. He gave very clear instructions and directions to get into the unit too, so both check-in and out, were smooth and easy. P/S : various New Year's Countdown...

"I am glad that i got to stay in this apartment when i am in Penang with family. The unit is unique, clean and modern looking. All of our family members enjoy the stay here. When we left Penang, we have accidentally left a bag in the apartment. The owner has let us known and go above and beyond to help sending the bag back to us, greatly appreciated! Will definitely be back again next time we are in Penang!"

"There are call girls going up to the rooms! Not shocking when there are many tourists staying there, never stay again, the room are dirty , bathroom are dirty , kitchen is not fully equipped, can’t find coffee spoon , no knifes only 5 sets of fork and spoon , old dirty cup and plates , mattress is old and sagging "

"Please note: the area around the property is safe at night. However it is a commercial area, so no tourist sights, no history, nothing to see, nothing to do, limited public transportation. You can eat out like in other parts of Penang, so no worries that you'll be forced to take all meals in the hotel. But otherwise is very much a check-in and sleep kind of place."

The bed is so comfortable and enough room to sleep three. "This was the second time we stayed at the Ascott within a month. We were in Penang for over three weeks to celebrate the Chinese New Year with our family in Penang. We decided to stay here again on the same trip. We like the amenities offered by Ascott such as the in-room washer and dryer, spacious room layout and excellent staff service. We walked to Gurney Plaza shopping mall and avoided the headaches of finding parking in the crowded shopping mall garage. This is a great hotel and we will certainly stay here again in the future."
