Shizuoka hotel rooms a the Independent

"Was told I booked a smoking room when I actually reserved a non-smoking one. The counter staff changed to non-smoking but was a king bed instead of the two twin I requested. "

"The hotel was excellent and staff were polite My room had a great view of a very long coast line I didn’t find much to do in the immediate area but it was very close to train / subway Top floor lounge bar is excellent too take a trip up there I was only there two nights my big complaint was the bed pillows very hard and full of grit like straw ( not sure what it was ? )"
